Featured here are portfolios of black and white fine art photographs of the Seattle area, along with images from my travels around the United States and abroad. While I’m primarily a black and white photographer, there are occasional color images presented here as well.
Much of my photography encompasses an interest in architecture, form, and the subtleties of light and shadow; often striving to combine the drama of the black and white photographs of Ansel Adams with a contemporary vision of the commonplace.
In recent years I have leaned toward a more minimalist approach in my photographs, with images often reduced to just the essential line and form of a subject. Incorporated in many of these minimalist photographs are extra long exposures, which have the effect of blurring movement, such as water, almost to point of non-existence.
Most of the photography on this site is for sale, either matted or framed. Please check out my purchasing page for further details..
